Characteristics of deep hole machining technology
The so-called deep hole machining, is the ratio of the length of the hole and the diameter of the hole greater than 10.Deep hole machining in most cases, the depth to diameter ratio L/ D ≥100. Such as cylinder hole, shaft axial oil hole, hollow main shaft hole and hydraulic valve hole and so on.Some of these holes require high processing accuracy and surface quality, and some of the machining materials are poor machinability, often become a big problem in production.So the deep hole processing by a lot of people’s attention, more and more people into the deep hole machining industry.
Hole machining technical features:
1.The knife bar is limited by the aperture, small diameter, large length, resulting in poor rigidity, low strength, cutting easy to produce vibration, ripple, taper, and affect the straightness and surface roughness of the deep hole.
2.When drilling and reaming, it is difficult to input cooling lubricant into the cutting zone without the use of devices, resulting in reduced tool durability and difficult chip removal.
3.In the process of deep hole machining, can not directly observe the cutting condition of the tool, can only rely on working experience to listen to the cutting sound, look at the chip, touch vibration and workpiece temperature, watch the instrument (oil pressure meter and electricity meter), to judge whether the cutting process is normal.
4.Chip removal difficulties, the use of reliable means to cut chips and control the length and shape of chips, in order to facilitate smooth removal, prevent chip blockage.
5.In order to ensure the smooth processing of deep hole and meet the required processing quality, chip removal device, tool guide and support device and high pressure cooling and lubrication device should be added.
6.The tool heat dissipation condition is poor, the cutting temperature increases, so that the tool durability is reduced.
