Basic knowledge of machining center
It has always been a difficult problem for factories to process and produce parts with light weight, poor rigidity, weak strength and compact structure. Such parts are costly, easily deformed by heat during processing, and have a high scrap rate.
As a CNC equipment with powerful processing performance, the machining center can reasonably select cutting tools and accurately select cutting amounts, which guarantees the accuracy of the product. Therefore, the CNC machining center has proposed specific solutions for the actual processing problems of easily deformed parts.
1.Factors causing parts deformation in machining centers
①Deformation by force
This kind of part wall is thin, under the action of clamping force, it is easy to appear different thickness in the process of machining and cutting, and the elasticity is poor, the shape of the part is difficult to recover by itself.
②temperature distortion
The workpiece is thin and thin in texture. Due to the action of radial force in the cutting process, the workpiece will be subjected to thermal deformation, so that the size of the workpiece is not accurate.
③Vibration deformation
Under the action of radial cutting force, parts are prone to vibration and deformation, which affect the dimensional accuracy, shape, position accuracy and surface roughness of the workpiece.
2.The processing method of easily deformed parts
Parts represented by thin-walled and easily deformed parts have been increasingly used in various processing occasions. For processing such parts, high-speed machining with small feed and high cutting speed can be used, which can reduce the cutting force of the workpiece during processing, and at the same time, most of the cutting heat is taken away by the high-speed flying chips, thereby reducing the workpiece temperature and reducing the thermal deformation of the workpiece.
In the machining process, compared with ordinary machining, the enhanced high-speed cutting of CNC machining centers can save auxiliary time in semi-finishing, actual machining and other links, thereby shortening the machining cycle of the workpiece and improving production efficiency.
